Learn from other parents, whether it be new ways of seeing things or new strategies to try—that we know work! Once a month, you'll also hear from a guest expert (e.g. pediatricians and play specialists) to answer all your questions. (Can’t join us live? You can always watch the replay.)
24/7 Access to the Community: Eager to meet your neighbors? We built the Neighborhood on a private platform you can access anytime, from your computer or phone. Build out your profile, join groups, and DM other members to cultivate your community.
We’re parenting researchers and community builders, authors and podcasters, best friends and moms.
We know there's no one-size-fits-all approach to raising kids. Instead, we believe the secret to the most positive and fulfilling parenting experience is to understand who you are as a parent—your strengths and struggles—so you can learn and grow alongside your child.
That's why we created a parenting personality quiz and framework, first introduced in our book, Modern Manners for Moms & Dads. Here, in the Neighborhood, we help parents make sense of positive parenting through the lens of their parenting personality.
Our advice has been featured by Parents, MSN, The Washington Post, Associated Press, Reader’s Digest, and other major media outlets.
We’ve coached parents around the globe using our Parenting Perspectives Framework and positive parenting strategies. We can’t wait to share them with you!
Back when my son was three, I remember searching for parenting resources to help us at home. You see, we were struggling. My son’s sleep issues were keeping me up at night. I didn’t know what to do about his intense meltdowns. I felt disconnected from my child, and with hardly any time to myself, I was barely surviving. I. Felt. Lost.
It was during this time that I met Evie Granville and Sarah Davis, and I have been working with them ever since. Coaching days are my favorite times of my week. I always come away with a strategy to try with my child.
But coaching is so much more than doing homework. It’s a whole sense of community. There’s just something about getting to talk with moms and dads who are going through the same things you are. I feel like I am being heard. This goes for Evie and Sarah too. These ladies truly care about what’s going on in my life and my child’s.
It might sound like an exaggeration, but working with Evie and Sarah has truly been life-changing for us.
I joined coaching with Evie and Sarah in the summer of 2020, and it was the best decision I could have made. I became a single parent earlier that year and was feeling lost guiding and caring for my three-year-old son, especially with the addition of Covid-19 and quarantine into all of our lives. My son was having tantrums, he wasn’t listening, and I didn’t know how to do it all alone. Evie and Sarah and the other parents in the coaching group made me realize that I wasn’t alone.
Other parents were facing similar challenges and we were all there together offering advice and solidarity. Evie and Sarah gave me real strategies and tips to try with my son each week and if those didnt work they helped me the following week to fine tune and find something else that would. Those coaching sessions became one of the highlights of my week, and there is something special about having someone tell you that you are doing a good job as a parent.
Coaching with Evie and Sarah is like having a chat with two of your best friends and being completely transparent about your parenting journey. The key difference is not only do they listen to you and understand what you are going through because they’ve been there, they have the credentials and education to give you ideas and strategies appropriate for helping you and your child. They truly care and want you to succeed. Evie and Sarah helped me gain insight into why I make the decisions I do and where my parenting motivations come from. Their group coaching was a game-changer for me and my son.
Being able to not only talk to [Evie and Sarah] on a weekly basis, but other parents who had children in the same developmental stage was invaluable to me.
